We primarily target wild brook trout (Nova Scotia’s provincial fish) in a backcountry setting with fly tackle. Depending on the river system, it is typically a 15-20 minute hike from the nearest vehicle access meaning fishing pressure is significantly less than more accessible water bodies. The result is high numbers of trout caught and healthy populations with larger fish,

Fish typically range between 8-12" but can be caught as large as 16". On light 3-5 weight tackle these wild trout provide plenty of excitement.
